I've finished book 1 and started on book 2.

I've been reading/listening to this book for about 4 days. I can't listen too much of it because I'm not that patient. I've read the leaked draft of Midnight Sun and I liked it some years ago. In that draft, Edward was a much more interesting person. The things she changed made him very obnoxious and whiny. It's been a hard reading month for me so far.

Skimming through the book is the only way for me to finish it.

The main character still behaving like a crazed teenager. I started skimming because I really don't like to be in the MC's head. She's insufferable.

This book brought me no emotions whatsoever. I feel disconnected from the characters and from the story. I'm trying so hard not to DNF. And I'm pissed because the synopsis hinted of a different story. The main character is a thirty-three-year-old woman with no personality and her thoughts sound like a very young teenager.
The love interest is meh.

I'm not loving it. I don't really like it but I can't stop reading it.
It's the weirdest thing.

It's 6:19PM and I finished another book because I couldn't handle those characters. 290 pages in and I want to hit all the characters with an ax. UGH!

I'm listening the audiobook. Right now I'm chapter 12 and I've rolled my eyes so many times I'm afraid they're going to fall off the orbits.
