I open this book and i am like why is this book so long? But then I am invested in everyones story. However, Ailey is the story that i am more invested in.

I liked the way this book started but okayyyy this format is either going to piss me off or make me love this book.

This book is twisted but its also very predictable. I think that its a story thats been explored many times and nothing new to see here. However, I do think McCrudy's writing is stronger than this than it was in her memoir.

I am enjoying this story and the different characters. Not enjoying the time jump and the way the story is set up following the different characters. I think she should have focused on Desiree and January and maybe one more character bc its a bit all over the place.

This story has a slow start and it is a bit wordy but the set up and the characters are so well written. Some of this story is so frustrating and other parts so heart breaking.

But like why she had to be with the abuelo first? Its killing me thinking about it ahhhh

Peter frustrates me.

Ivan frustrates me.

These girlfriends frustrate me.

My heart hurts for Ivan and even Peter but Ivan more =(

Not sure what the point of this is yet...but I am intrigued

I’m almost done with this and I’m torn between loving it and just liking it, because a lot happens but then a lot doesn’t happen. I’m so glad I read this when the hype is down lol

Why are people complaining about this book? I am 300 pages and I am loving the dual story lines. Also I can feel the chemistry between Alice and Hayden and I can totally see why they are falling for each other...Also I am loving the more contemporary feel to this
