Robin Pelletier is starting Artificial Condition (The Murderbot Diaries, #2)
“It’s hard to write a book with a point of view from something you think does not have a point of view.” Logic on why there’s no books with not rogue sec units.

Robin Pelletier is starting Up All Night: 13 Stories between Sunset and Sunrise
Read this one for my educators book club. I knew a few of the contributing authors and I was excited to read their short stories. Totally more geared toward the high school crowd, but I thoroughly enjoyed the stories. Missing was my favorite story just for the ghost story/spookiness of it. This is a $1.99 ebook right now - a steal of a deal! I totally recommend it!

Robin Pelletier is starting The Case of the Bizarre Bouquets (Enola Holmes, #3)
Quick read. Listened to it while planning out agendas and bell ringers for school and on a walk today. It’s starting to get better and more and more like the movie. It’s kinda cool to see Enola’s evolution in each novel.

It’s satisfying to end a book that ends on New Year’s day on New Year’s Eve.

Robin Pelletier is starting King George: What Was His Problem?: Everything Your Schoolbooks Didn't Tell You About the American Revolution
I’ve been reading this one a little at a time. It was a fun, easily accessible historical account of the American Revolutionary War. I loved the witty quotes sprinkled in. The illustrations at times were strategic yet humorous. The facts were kid friendly and time in connection with narratives. If I taught history, this book would be a must read!

Not at all what I was expecting. But it wound up being a pretty intense thriller.

Reading this one and leaving questions in it for my middle kiddo to analyze. Can you tell I miss teaching?
