So far this book is incredibly stirring

So far this book is a masterpiece.

So far this book is a drag. There have brief sections that are really good but they are few and far between. It seems like goal is not just to make a point, but to make it in the most complicated way possible for no apparent reason. I think each chapter could be 3-4 pages but he milks 20-30 for each which I suppose is impressive in its own right. Going to try to power through.
