When I first picked up this book, the nostalgia almost overwhelmed me. The feelings felt so good. Now that I’m halfway through, I’m just enjoying how much wisdom Achebe passed through this story. There’s always something to hold on to.

I can’t help but think Laurie is suffering from the sins of her father.
