This is just perfect. Heavy People We Meet on Vacation vibes, but totally different. I am sure it will be a 5 star read.

What a great book, it is slow at times but after the 40-50% mark it picked up and lots is happening. I still lose track of certain names and places and etc, but it is a complex well-written story. Definitely worth your time if you like Fantasy with political intrigue.

This book is far more complicated than the first one. We are following different events and I am getting a bit lost sometimes, I feel like some thoughts or actions are not mentioned and the author knew what happens, but I definitely need more context sometimes.

It is still not my favourite book, but it is well written. Evan kind of see why many people would enjoy it. We all know what to expect in the end, but the story is now hinting at it and I expect these last 30% to be the part which all readers appreciate the most and are moved by the most.

I started reading this as it is part of a few reading challenges in Goodreads, so far I don’t see why it is rated so highly. The main character who tells the story is super unlikeable, the story is a bit strange and it is clear how it will unfold more or less but I am not sure it is for me. I will finish it though.

I am so unbelievably bored. This is full of good ideas, the writing is also not bad, but it is missing a soul somehow and leaves much to be desired. I started reading another book, not sure when I will finish it.

It is written in an interesting way. It reads a bit like a Webtoon.

It is already a 5 star for me, but I want to finish it before scoring.

I am not too impressed, so far. Nothing noteworthy is happening, the MMC seems to be overdoing it a bit.
This book has such high ratings, I hope it doesn’t turn dramatic, but I am wondering how it will become interesting to me.

I would be enjoying this, if it did not start the way it did. Totally unnecessary, I will finish it, but am not enjoying it despite the interesting subject matter.

This is a typical Romantasy, heavy on the romance and is getting very tropy, I am not sure I love the similarities with other books, but it is entertaining. The FMC is super annoying.

I really like the quality of the writing. The characters are complex and the story is interesting. There is a bit of romance so far, but it is well written and far from the main plot line. I am a bit confused with the world and all names of people and places.

Just started this on audio. It’s not my typical read, but it is a book club pick, so I will try to finish it.

Just started it and am a few chapters in. Looks promising so far. Stephanie Garber has a signature fairytale feeling to her storytelling that I always love, I just hope she manages to weave the plot and romance well together. This is getting me excited about reading again, as I recently fell in a deep reading slump.

I did not realise this was part of a series. I t is not my first time reading a series of books backwards, but damn I wish I knew.
Also I love Ali Hazelwood’s writing. Her characters are really good with words, the banter is always top notch!

I really don’t like general fiction books. I am not sure why good reads advertised this as cosy. A few chapters in, nothing cosy about this one. I really don’t like it, but I will continue for now, I guess there are a lot more sad scenes to explore. I don’t understand why people like to read about fictional characters’ tragedies. There are enough tragedies in the real world.

It is not my typical read, but I will finish it to see what it is about and why it is so recommended.

I did not like the first book I read by Emily Henry, but damn, she has a way with words that is so atmospheric.

I really liked the premise when reading the synopsis, but since it is a super short book, the pacing is quite rushed. We are thrown in the story and the relationship and it is a bit like tuning into a movie on TV when you are switching the channels. I will finish it, since I hope to get my Goodreads badge and I like the story, it is just a bit different than the usual short stories I have read.

I only read the foreword, but it is already thought provoking. Very well written.

The writing is bad. The characters are not great, the fmc is insufferable. The plot is not the best, very unoriginal also.
I will continue, but I expected more.

Wow, I really thought I might not like this one as it is so overhyped, but I am a few pages in and I am impressed by the storytelling and the writing. It is soo atmospheric, I also already love the characters. I really hope it stays consistent and I am not disappointed later on.

I really needed a fluffy book and am hoping this is the one to satiate my need.

This book was hyped some time ago online and I decided to pick it up now to see what the hype is about. So far, I am not impressed, the FMC sounds like she is 15 and she is supposed to be 26? The MMC sounds also like a teenager and is supposed to be 30?? The scenes are so unnecessarily dragged out, so many irrelevant words, irrelevant information. The prose is not so easy to read due to the writing style..
