Really slow go, started this book 3 times now and haven't got past 100 pages, does it get better?

I read the first two as stand alone, then I found this book that had 4 books in one. Just finished Flame and now started heat.

I read the first two, but looking for the third in goodreads, but they don't have it listed, so I picked this instead. Not sure if I'll read Heat, the fourth book.

Okay, trying this book for the 3rd time, hopefully it will keep my interest.

Made the mistake of watching the Netflix series, which I really enjoyed, so I kind of knew the ending, so I didn't finish this book.

Will not finish. The first book in this series was dark and I don't care for the story of robbing body parts. I thought these would be more like working romances in a hspital, not dark and scary.

This is a really thick book. I'm on Kester chapter now. Im thinking with the date and time of this book, people would be shocked, now a days not so much, but it is entertaining but long winded.

Giving up on this, first book ever, just too confusing to keep up with.

Stopped reading. It seems I was told the wrong sequence and I hate reading things out of order.
