At the beginning I was very excited about this book, but now I am about to start chapter 7, and it has let me down. I don't like James Gleick's style trying to tell a story or to be kind of poetic. At some point I think that some chapters could be reduced to 3 pages by being punctual and avoiding all needless quotations.

In addition, I have found nothing about Newton's personality.

This book is outstanding. This is exactly what I was looking for.

Design patterns are incredibly useful. I have been implementing some of the without knowing I was doing it. I'm so eager to continue learning about them.

Wow! Too many things I have no idea.

It is really nice the way to record and use gestures on Kivy. Two chapters left.

It was pretty fun working with Kivy and animations. That feature to add asynchronous images is outstanding.

Chapter 9 read, and 4 chapters left. However, the next two chapters are design patterns which I am not so familiar. I know they will take some time to master, and I am wondering whether I should continue reading them or start Head First Design Patterns.

Chapter 4 completed. I took me a while since I didn't understood a suite, but thanks to Stackoverflow it is solved. Now, it time to practice no reading today and probably tomorrow since mastering this first 4 chapters.

Serialization has been covered. Though I had no idea how to use pickle and json before, now I can use them. Again this knowledge has to be put into practice. Very exciting about starting with design patterns tomorrow.

I love high order programming in Python. It is great to be able to pass a function another function, and in general, treat a function as an object is treated.

Chapter 2 is finished. I like a lot Kivy. I can't believe I haven't used it before.

Though I thought I was going to take almost no notes about this chapter, I was wrong. It is very interesting to know about named tuples. I am definitely using them on my projects.
