This is a heavy one. I can only handle a little bit at a time.

Reading aloud to my kid. So pleased that she’s enjoying it so far!

This dialogue in this novel is supremely awful but I still kinda want to see what happens.

This one will likely be a DNF for me... I'm annoyed by the writing style/MC. It reads very much like "Dear diary: today I woke up in this world and I almost got eaten by a sentient mushroom! It was scary. But Minna saved me with her plant powers, so that was a relief. She's the best."

Also the villain so far is of the stupidly cartoonish mustache-twirling variety.

I think this is going to be a DNF...

I think I've highlighted half the book so far. Never have I related to someone more than this.
