Okay, so I get that we're probably supposed to feel sorry for John, but the only feeling I'm getting so far is that he's an arsehole.
My sweet Chad is an innocent cinnamon roll and dereves the world.
Hopefully my opinion of John will change soon.

Okay, so I know I'm only 7% in, but I already hate Jace with the fire of a thousand suns.
Even though I met him in the previous book, and I know things will work out between them, I don't think there is anything he could do to deserve Kierens love 😡😠🤬

I've just started this, and it's kind of jarring. The mmc is talking straight to the reader. Explaining things. It's weird. I'm assuming (hoping) that this is just temporary, trying to do an info dump.
I think it's going to be duel pov, so hopefully it should go to normal soon.
This is my first read from this author. I'm jumping into the middle of a series because it says it can be read as a stand-alone.

I've never read anything from this author before, and I just stumbled across this book when it popped up in feed late last night, but omg, I absolutely adore it so far.

I needed an audiobook so I could rest my eyes (migraine), but I'm a bit fussy when it comes to voices. I have a few favourite narrators, so I literally just searched Audable for Greg Boudreaux, and came across this gem. Loving it so far.

I got side tracked, and somehow ended up reading 3 books since I started this one, so I'm going to skip back a bit to remind myself of what has happened so far.

Yes, I know Christmas is over, but after reading 'Cloudy with a chance of bad decisions' I wanted Joe's story. Oh and look, our favourite gossip boy from the general store, Jason, is our other mmc.

Having not long finished the Demon Magic series by this author, I am seeing SO many similarities with this book.
Nix is like Miles, Alistair - Havoc, Bjorn - Iya or Lachlan, Purrcival the cat - Mayhem, Elderon the horse - Enzo.
Luckily, I love love loved Demon Magic, so I'm happy with the similarities.

Hmm, listening to the audiobook, and not too sure about this guys voice. They should have gotten Iggy Toma, because his southern accent is to die for.
Hope this guys voice doesn't ruin it for me.
Hopefully, I'll get used to it.

I am still reading this, I've just had to put it aside for quite a while due to personal anxiety.
Hoping to be able to pick it up again in a few days.

God, I really wish I had have checked trigger warnings before starting.
I would have listened to it anyway, because I'm loving this series, but at least I could have prepared myself, and wouldn't have ended up having an anxiety attack (my own personal trauma. Usually I can get myself ready for it and I'm fine)
So yeah, trigger warning: forced dr*g use, s*xual assault, and attempted r*pe.
Otherwise, great so far.

I'm going to have to read it instead.
Being an Australian myself, the voices of the people they chose to narrate this are really grating on me!!! No, nope, no thank you. The majority of us do NOT sound like that, and also, there is no way in hell I can possibly find these voices hot during the sexy stuff.
Going to read it myself.

I'm only 30 minutes in, and on chapter 3, but already HATE the main character (Jesse) with a fiery passion. I'm pretty sure I'm not supposed to. I like Luke. He's adorable. But Jesse, NOPE. I want to slap him. lol
If I can't learn to like Jesse, I'm not going to make it through this book.
Audio narrator is good so far.

I loved the first book, and I'm loving this so far.

Somehow missed this one.
Just read #5 and realised I'd skipped a whole story. Oh well, better late than never.

Slow going because of life stuff, but still absolutely loving this book!

I love the snowed in, forced proximity trope, and I'm loving the characters.
I am a bit sad that despite being set at Christmas, it's not Christmassy at all so far. Considering that I waited to read it until now because I wanted festive fun, I'm trying to hold out hope that I'll get some.

As soon as I started this, it felt like coming home. I instantly found myself smiling & relaxing as I read. I've come to know & love all of these characters, & the town of Little Pippin Hollow so much.
FINALLY, Hawk & Jacks book. I've been dying for this one!

I've been unbelievably lucky with all of the books I've read in the last few months.
I've absolutely loved every single one of them.
I'm flying through this one so fast, and I don't want it to end, but I'm adoring everything about it, so I don't want to put it down.
