Yeeeeeah, I think this is my last Feeney novel. A whole lot is said, but it’s not going anywhere. I read a spoiler because I knew I wasn’t going to continue. Glad I did because I would’ve been pissed at the end.

It started off good, but is now falling flat for me.

Skylar is so ignorant…?… naive? I was really liking this at first, but the more I started thinking about it, I was getting more and more annoyed. I have such a love/hate relationship with Silver’s books and this one is starting to lean toward the latter.

Um, six year olds don’t talk like that… *trying my best not to let it bother me too much*

Funny how I always come back to Elsie Silver. The phrase “rolls her/his lips” bugs me, but I had the urge to pick this one up again…. And I’m loving it. Small town romance is my mood right now 🩷
