So the premise of this book is that a human woman kills a faerie and, in punishment, she's taken from her abusive family and abject poverty to live in a beautiful palace surrounded by luxury where she's given all she wants. How dare they!

I´m so very confused, not even Gerald Doyle is saving the day.

Reading for the book club. So far I'm struggling.

"The Tower of Babel is a Biblical symbol of humans divided by language, but language differences are a source of richness and need not be a caus of pain or confusion. Conflict is caused instead by othe factors, such as group identification and chauvinism." Pg. 127. More than one should be reading this.

I'm not smart enough to keep up with the graphic novel. I may need the kindergarden version of this.

This book deserves better than the attention I'm giving it.

I want to like this, but 25% in and I still don't know what I'm reading.
