I had a bit of doubt at the beginning but now that I am further along, I am starting to really like this, and dare i say love the direction we are going?

finally getting to this after years of not fitting it on my autumn tbr!

Don't love how Harper's inner monologue is all self pity and loathing, but hopefully that ends soon?

It's not that this is *bad* but also, i'm not loving that I am so far in and we have only had hints towards a paranormal plot. I like my paranormal books to be more overt otherwise what is the point about having paranormal elements?

I love this series so much 😭

So far so good. My only complaint is that the chapters are SO. LONG. Chapters over 20 pages is the devil's work

I gotta be honest, I am struggling to get through this. Every time i think I make decent progress it turns out I have barely made a dent. I am just not vibing with this story

I've read this book 3 times now and I *still* sob uncontrollably at "my friends are with me and I am not afraid"

Fun so far, and the writing style/humor reminds me of Ali Hazelwood! I don't love how heavy handed the slasher/romcom references are, though.

yeah i'm obsessed with this book

Strongly considering dropping this. I don't think this is a bad book, but I do think it's extremely dull. All they do is drive around, talk about driving around for storms, make googly eyes at each other, and occasionally take pictures. Their banter is cute and all, but the characters are so dull and one dimensional.

I'm still enjoying this, but I'm also waiting for *something* to happen. So far it's been a lot of meandering with a lot of telling over showing.

Eh. I'm mostly reading this book for the sake of finishing it right now. I don't think this sequel was necessary, and I don't like how there's been a massive detour from the plot that is STILL going on and I am halfway through.
