Not only is this book a fascinating look at the commonalities between people in the throes of heartache and difficult breakups throughout history but it also adds historical context, fascinating details, interesting accounts from various sources, andcolorful characters but it's all presented with humor and humanity in a voice and style that feels like your having one hysterically funny chat with a friend.

Excellent book! A good, quick read that keeps you invested from start to finish.

Just getting started but already like the writing style so that's worth something

So far not as easy to get into as the first book. The constant switching between times periods makes for a lot of confusion and interferes with the story's flow. Im having a hard time picking it back up

Very good, easy read. There's a lot more set up than story to this but I am eager to read the purposes sequels as the story parts are still quite entertaining.

A not slow. Seems like its just getting going now and I'm 2/3 done. Strange as it comes highly recomended by that intellectual giant, William Shatner
