Right now this book surely is an eye opener on the Great Depression in the 1930's. Reading this makes me wish atleast one of my grandparents were still living but the last had passed away due to COVID-19 and was born in 5/1931. This brings up already many questions and to see how those in need were treated by those whom were doing so well. That kind of thing never changes though. Sad.

Wow! I must say I didn't see the end of this happening the way it did. I will say that a "follow up" would be nice. I don't want to spoil anything. I know many will alert a reader but I'm the type to always read them. I feel for Ivy & have throughout the entire book but thought she was a little Bitch too. Ivy's childhood reminds me a little of my own.

This book is freaking!!! Laura Clery is an amazing woman. She shares her life with us and her spiraling out of control, trying to make it as an actress. Life is tough and she learns that &what it's like to be loved by another and cared for....MUST READ! Then when you are done, check out her YouTube & Facebook pages..

OMG this book is not just funny but it's also sad and an eye-opener on life and how it can spiral down. Only you are in control of your own destiny and not anyone else. However, if you're an addict (whether it be alcohol or drugs) that in itself can take hold of you, your life and destroy you.
