I had a friend tell me forever ago that her favorite chapter of this was the house of healing…having just read it, I get it. Such a beautiful addition to the lore and magic of middle earth.

Also, the amount of lines from this chapter that were scattered throughout Jackson’s movie trilogy, so much respect for those writers.

okay I did not remember everything that went down with Fanny from the movie, this book is drama! but also loving the slow burn romance so much <3
