Finally got it in the mail.

I have had this book on my to read list for a while. Now I am finally getting around to reading it.

I am half way through the book and the author has started being repetitious. Her endless criticism of the way the black church treats women is true. However she has yet to note the fact that the black church, has also been a shelter in the tme of storm for numerous women.

It feels kinda weird reading a Kindle book and then going back to reading a hard copy book.

I heard someone say a long time ago: "When you read one book about race, you have read them all." At this point in my life I am starting to believe that.

The title of this book tells me that the the old tradition of NOT having sex before marriage, is now questionable in the Christian community.

I hope this book is as good, as the reviews say it is.

When a book review begins with: "You need to read the first book to understand this one." I am immediately turned off.

I finally got my replacement Kindle. For the first time in a long time, I really missed reading.

My Kindle died so I am waiting for them to send me a new one. I miss it so much.

I am learning to read for pleasure again.
