Just finished Hearts and while not as spooky to me, I really loved some of the stories. Here are my favs ranked in order: The Marriage Variations, The Unhaunting, Candy Boii, The Story and the Seed.

So far, my favorite stories in the Head section are, in order of spook: Guess, Unbeknownst, Lone, and Grimalkin.

I’m really not enjoying this at all but I was reading other peoples reviews and someone rates this a 2.5 spice. All I can think about is what the hell are you reading for this to only be 2.5 spice.

I’m enjoying this book but the constant use of “baby” and the possessiveness is giving me the ick

I wasn’t sure how I would like this book when I first got it, but almost immediately it’s drawn me in. Also I really liked how the beginning was layer out and you’re introduced to the story.

Now that it’s all set up I’m excited to see what the heck is gonna happen.

Instantly in love with this book. These are the best characters.

I like the way the timeline of this book is set up so far. Keeps the story intense and page turning.

Just finished the 3rd story and I’m really enjoying the perspective of the book. Each story so far has had an interesting take/twist/element that’s made me and stop and think.

This is just one of those books that I want to talk about with someone. It’s giving nostalgia but new and unique.

Currently in the middle of the 3rd chapter and I’m really enjoying the perspective of this one. The way he talks about fear is interesting.

I enjoyed the journey the second story took me on. It started out ominous and unsettling. And then it got terrifying in the way the characters described their experiences. Like the way super tense, slow build psychological horrors feel. But then it took a turn that was reminiscent of an urban legend which detached it enough from reality to not make me scared to her up in the end.

Will is absolutely infuriating. The way he pursues Clara is not endearing and honestly it’s kinda horrifying. No matter what she says or how honest she is with him, he refuses to listen or take into account what she wants. Yea, she’s attracted to him, but that doesn’t give him any claim over her or an excuse to consistently overstep her boundaries. Take a fucking hint dude and back off for 5 seconds.

Yea I absolutely cannot finish this.

DAMN… This book is incredible and the way it’s essentially an entire trilogy seamlessly rolled into one is beautiful.
