Academy love this series!!

Wonderful book, just taking me forever to read it...

An epic read already! I love the headstrong tomboy main character. It's actually really fun to follow Elivya as she navigates court life and how to be the only child (a daughter no less) of a influential and well known Lord.

Definitely a younger read than my norm but it's a wonderful story so far about finding answers and accepting yourself. Really looking forward to the rest of the book.

Book 4 didn’t feel like a Beauty and the Beast retelling, which was refreshing. The superhero thing was cool but all of the spanish and mexican culture felt too touristy and “close enough.” I really liked the romance though. On to book 5!

Done with book 3. I was pretty happy for the change to contemporary. But that’s about it. All of the characters were too close to the originals. Beast-Burke, Belle-Rose, Lumiere-Lucien, Cogsworth-Charles, it all felt a little forced.

Y’all book 2 was real weird. The “Belle” character was a lizard person. There was lizard people.

I really enjoyed the first book and I think I’ll read the rest of that series. The dark elves are really cool! On to book two
