my libby loan for this expired when i had one story left so i listened to that today and then decided to reread it all bc i can’t remember enough to review it. BUT will say how much i love the first story being narrated by bernadette dunne, who is the voice of all things shirley jackson to me bc of her doing the narration for hill house and castle.

v interesting idea. kinda lagged in the middle but i liked

like i despise spoilers and there’s a part of me that wants to spoil it for myself so i can sleep better damn

idk if i’ve ever been this confused while reading a book?? wtf is happening??????????? i don’t like unreliable narrators when they r men. also like???? i have been nonstop thinking about this book and how can i not solve it??? idk who anyone is or who to trust. i don’t like a single character rn. ugh i need to sleep but can’t stop reading and when i try to sleep i can’t stop thinking about wtf is happening
