Better late than never.

I just don't know if I can finish this.... I hate the main character so much.

I cannot put it down!

So happy to have finally found this in a library. Enjoying it immensely.

Couldn't finish. I was listening to the audiobook on my commute. The voice acting was way excited and intense. Totally annoyed me.

chapter 26 and I'm really tired of hearing "Trust no one. Only Swans are loyal to the Inghams" "Premiere Earl of England!" *rolls eyes* As opposed to the premiere Earl of the countless other countries who continue that aristocratic scheme? Oh and Charlotte is pretty much the most annoying and meddlesome character ever. I so don't want to finish this book.

Now the story is picking up, and the heroine has lost her tinge of shrewishness.

I am not digging the heroine. At all. Hopefully she grows out of her selfishness and immaturity really soon.

Needed a fluffy bunny read after my last book.

And I'm done... Maybe I'll come back to it, but I'm bored by it.

I'm already bothered my the series title... They can't be serious...

I have to force myself to put the book down. Nesbø creates great suspense. I hope it finishes strong.

Probably shouldn't start with book 3 of a series, but here we go.

Ugh. Seriously, why is it everyone else in the series gets to mature and develop healthy relationships, but Maisie continues her annoying selfish relationship avoidance?

I'm not sure if I'm liking this book. The early storyline is uncomfortable and dark.

I take it all back. I can't put the book down! I stayed up until 4:00 AM reading and made myself finally go to sleep. Wow.

Already the heroine is annoying me... then I just realized the book is 800 some pages long... I hope that means there's some serious growth here or it will be a miserable 800 pages. I've been wanting to read this since the summer, but it's not looking good right now.

Taking a break. Jamie C. was right...this book is not the greatest. It's soooooo slow. I've got to read something else. At this pace it'll take me months to read it b/c I'm just not excited to be reading it. :-(
