Do you ever feel like you are reading about a hero who should actually be the villain? I feel like I have completely grown out of the beauty and the beast phase. The beast is no prince, he's just an ass with money :(

I kind of love the way Emma Donoghue brings to light the inadequacies of her characters. We are all flawed.

ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?! Why is it that whenever the heroine sees the hero shirtless she goes into shock?! And then the arrogant jerk just flippantly does something to snap her out of it. Making her look more like an idiot at a crucial moment!!

Julia Quinn you are a genius!! I probably should be paying attention to the lecture in the mosque but honestly who can put her books down?!?

I love the way Iris talks about her big family. Coming from a big family myself, it's a delight to read about a character who understands what it feels like to have 30+ first cousins.

I'm at the part where Yvette is talking about her hang ups with sex. So my problem with this novel so far is that Yvette is described as an "innocent," which gives a completely different meaning to her character than the fact that she was traumatized and now has problems with intimacy.

I know Bianca and Luc's story is coloring my judgement of this book but I really don't like either one of these characters. they are both selfish. Kate is supposedly wanting to try and make things better between her and her sister but she hasn't really done much. She's too damn busy in her own world.

why does the guy never fess up before don't something stupid? I would like a hero, for once, that confesses his stupidity before the damage is irrevocable.

I'm loving the story and the h&h, but the author keeps referring to the hero as Demon Prince or by his full name, it's starting to get annoying!

Hero is a fucking idiot! Again who the hell invites people over without consulting the hosts?! I am so angry that I want to throw my iPad at the hero's leg to hurt the stupid bastard!

I feel sorry for Augusta. She is not only burdened with an idiotic family but also an unthinking, dumb-as-a-post hero. Who the hell invites people over to someone else's house without consulting them first?!?

The younger brother's spoiled nature and the heroine's excuses about it are starting to piss me off. If he was my brother I would've given him a lecture and let him grow up by at least trying to solve his own problems. Vivien just makes excuses for him like he is a baby!! He is 22 more than old enough to at least try to solve his own issues!

He called her a whore and unfortunately I felt like there was never a woman more deserving of the title. I don't feel anything for Mara except hatred, I really hope she redeems herself because I feel like Temple deserves better.
