Always excited to dive into a Neal Stephenson book. Except this time it's about climate change, which I was afraid could get Greta T preachy. Fortunately, it's not.

This audiobook has the same narrator as "Nine Perfect Strangers" and it's making it easy to confuse the main character in this book with Frances, the main character in "Nine Perfect Strangers." That both women are such annoyingly flighty overly optimistic over-thinkers makes it hard to empathize with them. Hopefully it gets better.

I hate both of the main characters and just want this book to be over so I can find out the truth.

As an adult, I'm finding this book a bit slow and boring. I have no idea how I made it through it as a kid.

Having both of Paula Hawkins' previous books, I'm a bit irritated that this one follows a similar formula. If it turns out it that

"A+B+C x [should have seen that coming misdirection] = completely bogus ending"

i'm going to be super irritated.
