It gets exhausting to read a book where the narrator constantly says "if only I had picked up on this at the time". But overall I'm enjoying this - although I really just want to finish.

Oral history? What is this malarkey? Better than Robopocalypse by far, not sure how it compares to WWZ, but right now I would have settled for a more conventionally related story instead of this fictional non-fictional book.

I'm reading this partly to know my enemy and partly because Harrison Ford. Or something. Who doesn't want to read fascist sci-fi?

(The best part is that in the intro OSC says that all fantasy is the same but that SF isn't derivative at all)
