3.5 stars. Enjoyable, with likeable characters and good continuity from book 1. I started to notice a bit of repetition of some phrases. Similarly, some topics were returned to multiple times - which is in keeping with how human decision-making works but not ideal in fiction. I look forward to reading any future stories in the series.

So now the lead character is up to three love interests. If this Fibonacci sequence continues, she’ll be stringing along eight guys by book four.

I’ve just finished the sections titled “Existentialism” and “Hedonism”, and I’m already depressed. Who knows how I’ll feel when I get to “Nihilism” :|

I really enjoy Ciamh McDonnell’s books - a good mix of humour, intrigue, action, and some poetic justice. I just wish it was easier to keep track of who was who at any given point.

Characters I love, high adventure, and a grounded under-story. I found myself annoyed when I had to put it down. 4.5 stars (but rounded up!)
