Finished disc 4 of the audio book when some rude person put a hold on the only library copy. ;)

I don't care for the characters in this one and I'm torn on finishing this or not. According to reviews, there's witty repartee coming, but the main character is so unlikable.

Abandoning at page 132. Too depressing and dragging.

"He wouldn't understand that we had found a common ground and were communication outside this topless arena." Oh boy. So far the main character has questioned where he is going in life, been paid $5M to go through a wrinkle in quantum physics, and is now visiting a topless bar. Will this stay in the so bad, it's kind of good arena?
