Everyone who works at this company is a myopic narcissist who cannot imagine a world different from the one we already live in despite their claims of the opposite. Is it #visionary to simply speed up the healthcare system instead of. I don't know. Changing the system itself???

this book is really fucking cool. a genuinely great take on artificial intelligence, automation, and extractionist capitalism. this book has really disparate reviews so i'm very curious about what happens in the second half of the book

FINALLY A BOOK THAT IS GOOD AND INTERESTING

finally a book i'm enjoying

super disappointed in this book so far :( the plot all feels like it's happening TO the characters rather than the characters driving the plot forward, which i really dislike especially in a book that is entirely about characters. also omfg so much non-fiction infodumping. we get it you did a lot of research but p boring to kind of just relay that info to the audience in such a dry way

man idk if it's me or what but i'm also not really enjoying this book either :/ the prose isn't hitting for me and the characters aren't that interesting or unique to me. but i like the mystery so i shall keep reading

the book report on ansky was making me lol. unrealistic that she could get into nyu's jewish studies MA for folklore while being monolingual imo but who am i to criticize this beautiful wish-fulfillment novel

i really admire the author's choice to frame ansky's biography through what she is interpreting as an intensely homoerotic lifelong friendship he had. (not to disregard everything else for rpf, i'm really enjoying the lens of ansky's own fictional works to interpret his irl experiences too) (but ultimately this book is about S. Ansky, Bisexual Disaster

man i am loving this. can a man be so misogynistic he becomes gay. also i love that im reading two books at the same time that read bourgeois turn of the century europeans to filth except this book's author knows about critical theory

Lol this book is so funny. I like how much everyone is a bitch. Also I like that they're all slutshaming one specific man. The characters are definitely misogynists but sholem aleichem chose misandry too
