Meh. I gave it 25%, but the book really isn't grabbing me. Dropped, I think.

There are some holes in the story that just haven't been patched, and new ones seemingly being created. I guess it's an effect of reading the books back to back, but it's kinda aggravating that Marko is forgetting to resolve things, and his characters likewise seem to be entirely ignoring hard earned previous experiences.

Can't buy Vella tokens to finish the book, on account of me being a filthy foreigner. 🤬 Thus, I am stuck never knowing the rest of the story. Am only "finished" in that sense, and would love to one day read the last few chapters.
