Jenni Fagan is one of my favourite authors. This is her autobiography. It is bleak so far. Her mum was sectioned at the time of her birth - and Grandma was the most famous drunk in Glasgow, which is a real achievement.

Someone else in Cambridge clearly likes Fagan's work as I picked up Hex a few weeks back and now this - shout out to Amnesty bookshop on Mill Road.
