Re-reading it for the second time.

When watching the 2005 adaptation, I usually have only one real (non-superficial) complaint: that it moves too fast. But I’ve now read about seven pages of the novel, and Mr. Bingley has already fallen in love with Jane, and Mr. Darcy has already slighted Lizzy.

I think I withdraw my complaint.

Omg. Is this my all time favorite prose? Beautiful, melancholic and hilarious at the same time? How is that even possible?

Oh. This is starting of beautifully.

I force myself to not read to quickly. I love that I got to end 2025 and start 2026 with this story that I adore so much.
