I could not get past page 6 until yesterday. Now I am on page 63, intrigued, and sad I went so long without reading.
World Cup was enjoyed. Love island as well.

Guysss I stayed up late reading too much and my body couldn’t keep up and then the World Cup & Love Island started ILL BE BACK ON MY GRIND SOON IM SORRY SELF I’ll stop the brain rot soon

Swear2god with nearly every page since my last update I have thought to myself “I should update goodreads” because I am just thoroughly enjoying this book. I have cried so so much. I just got to such a beautiful part. I don’t know how to write updates or reviews yet, especially because I don’t want to put any spoilers. So I will opt for my usual:
Oh my god. Wow. Ouch. Beautiful.

I need to speak my truth and my truth is that almost every single page I’ve read since my last update has made me cry

IM SO LOCKED IN I love this book my eyes are heavy from reading but every chance I get I am in kindle land. Super fire and I want to learn the ways of a sword

I could not get into this book for the LIFE of me… until today. And now I am hooked. I am only on page 67 of 630 and I am excited!!!

Somewhere between beginning this book and midnight I started to really enjoy this book. Most of my reading is done in the car or between feedings and diaper changes and when I should be sleeping, so I’m not 100% sure when the turn of not liking to liking happened. But I’m glad it did!

I wish I’d had learned how to make a progress post pre falling asleep last night. I am thrilled that this is the book to reintroduce me to reading after a decade+ of letting my brain rot. Heart the lover is making me feel things.. one of them is that I need a therapy session. Or it’s equal, i need to stare at the ocean in silence for a long time
