Impunity runs is the result of entrenched state violence in the aftermath of the Marcos regime of corruption, mixed with enforced disappearances, murders, tortures, and summary executions that touched even ordinary people like you and me. This compilation based on the diaries of the dictator placed into the proper historical context helps us counter the pro-Marcos historical denialism being propagated today.

This basically summed up my undergraduate Rizal course in a nutshell, I am glad the authors were able to bridge through the opacity of the ethos of Pepe as a nation builder.
