loving this book

im loving the audio book. the bits of horror have been sprinkled lightly. until now of having some backstory to the tree, and...

i like our main character, and have empathy for her situation. I love how strong willed she is.

chapter 2done

glad the side plot-divorce case is wrapped up {i hate loose ends- i'm glad it ended as it did}.

*Trigger Warning- of rape
chapter 1-4 mention abuse and rape. chapter 5 & 6 are the rape scene.
you could skip chapters 5 & 6 to avoid it - without losing plot.

I will say that LK. does a good job of approaching it all with "healing is possible", "however you feel is valid", and "you can take back control of your life".

dual time lines. more details that feel true-to-movie.

omg i love this! its so cute. and i almost cried when the boys came to take her home!!

I like the depiction of modern day tech. the clash was interesting.
move the castle into the hat shop?! hmm...
