Enough!

Too much waffle that I don’t feel adds much to the story.

Note to self: don’t bother with anymore of her books. 1st world problem gripes and writing is just like YA diary.

Give up trying to force myself to read this.

My fault for assuming synopsis… defo not my kind of/usual genre to read. If hubby wants to read, that says it all!

Well, this was a hard one to read... which I’ve clearly failed at finishing. Narrative and dialogue was very ritualistic, infuriating so. Could not fall in love with the main character nor even hate her. It just felt so tiring, Hekat, Raklion, everyone.

Moving on to something hopefully better...

This is most definitely for the much younger audience. Narrative was too black and white and not enough depth.

Such an awful, whiney prattling book. A lot of the narrative simply was not needed.

Let’s see.

1) “Dense brush...”. Am I supposed to imagine lots of brushes in the woods?! It’s spelt “bush” or “bushes”. That is ENGLISH.

God awful book... Can't trust recommendations from a certain someone! Second 'classic' book I've chanced, and not a mere bit of enjoyment.
