This is for our faculty/staff bookclub and it is terrible. I have never rly liked any of the books we have read but this may be the worst

I’ve been saving this one and man it’s good. It is hard to find the non romcom romances these days but they do exist and this one is very quality.

Ready for Dumas’ special brand of extra like I’m 12 again. This audiobook is 46 hours long. Pray for me

There are many reasons it’s sad Andre Leon Talley is dead, but one is definitely that I can never sit down with him and have tea and listen to him telling me about his extraordinary life. This book is the next best thing.

This is a book club book selected by my DC-based bookclub, so why not read a novel published in 1880 about a woman discovering DC? Honestly this is hilarious and mean, and it turns out DC politics nearly 150 years ago were…just about the same as they are now.

This is a beautifully written book about some very ugly things (though not all ugly, and the chapter on DC is imho one of the most insightful things I have ever read about my intensely weird hometown).

I may regret this.

I am almost to the end of this one so I'm committed but omg I need to read something light after this. I am so creeped out.
