I love Stephen King so I finally gave this series a chance but these are not for me.

Realistic? Not in any way (at least not in my life) but it was a fantastic story to escape in!!!

This is supposed to be Koontz’s first book. It definitely has old Koontz style. This story was MESSED UP.

I listened to this audiobook and I liked it. A different take on fairy tales for sure

If this has been about 100 pages shorter it would have been a fantastic book. It was dragged out too long though.

As expected Kristin Hannah didn’t disappoint. I got totally immersed in these characters and the way they developed throughout the story. This one was heavier to me than The Nightingale, probably bc I lived through these times and this war. It was very real.

I stuck it out halfway then gave up. Boring!!

Oh my goodness I listened to this audiobook and I LOVED it! I laughed and I cried. If you liked the movies Grumpy Old Men I highly recommend this. I do hope a movie is made of this book

If I could give this ten stars I would!!! I have loved this series and each book was amazingly better than the one before! I’m looking forward to starting the Kimberly Quincy series now.
