I really really love her and I never thought I would when I first started reading!! Also, what a perfectly assholey alpha hero. Shit he is amazing.

As it turns out, all my issues with the heroine (and the hero) is all gone. I’m completely dragged into the story, and the only issue I have right now is the fact I sometimes don’t really get what is happening by the description alone. Especially when they are driving up the mountain. I can’t really picture everything that’s happening.

Several others have pointed out the same issues as I have, but so far all of them have stated that they kept reading and that the issues resolved itself. So, guess I’m buying it.

I’m not really liking the whole older asshole alpha hero and the teen struggling heroine. I’ve come to the end up the sample, and don’t know if I should buy it to continue reading or skipping the whole book...

I’ve immediately struggle with the heroine. Really don’t know how I will be able to find her likable or even feel a connection with her because of her apparent past. So I came here, read a few short reviews and realized quickly that I have to keep on reading. Please surprise me.

I figured I owed this author to give the book a proper chance and after forcing myself to continue past the 9 %, finally things started happening. Most importantly the current boyfriend is an asshole so I release her from my previous judgment. Let’s go!

I’ve already laughed out load and I’m only on page 41.

Once again I am reminded that the only true badass in this series are Neil. No one can compare.

So, they made up. But not because she groveled. He is clearly not able to have a backbone when it comes to her. I don’t know if I’m okay with that.

Now she turned him down. Again. But this time he said he was done. I’m really hoping he means it this time. That he doesn’t let her in again until she earns the chance.

So, I’ve now read almost 70 % of the book and I finding myself struggling with the heroine. She treats the hero so bad, and she’s giving me whiplash with all the hot and cold. He has been nothing but direct and honest with her, and did an 180 right after he met her. She, on the other hand, keeps using him for a couple of minutes and then shutting him out. Also, the f! She has a baby?

He is so insecure and childlike at times. I can’t seem to really bond with either him nor her. The writing makes the story flat.

So, he is saying he is responsible for the fact that people shouldn’t be afraid that some shooter would show up any moment and gun them down?

Side note: not sure how I feel about him stating that her name doesn’t suit her, that it reflects something cold and that he starts calling her be a totally different name and not one time does she question him.
