Page turner! Needed a real scary story

Found this in a charity shop. What can I say, the title caught my eye

Nabokov slowly becoming one of my favourite authors
I have pale fire on the shelf and I am excited for that one too
His prose is beautiful, his sentences so cleverly crafted, a lot of his sentiments towards the world close to mine

Not even joking I’ve started having some of the scariest most vivid nightmares of my life since picking this book up and the horror is only getting worse so I’m terrified of going to sleep tonight
