Just finished chapter 26 and I’m definitely feeling a bit stressed for our main characters.

Loving it so far!

I'm really enjoying this book. London's writing beautifully simple and easy to read.

So many questions about where this story is leading! I really love Caddy and Jo. I want both of them to have happy lives.

Surprised how quickly I fell into this story!

Struggling to get through this one, but I'm determined to finally finish this series out. I feel I owe it to the characters that I loved at the beginning.

I've been slowly reading this one for awhile, but hopefully I'll be wrapping it up this week. I'm adding it on here to keep it on my mind. (My problem is I keep forgetting about it!)

I’m not totally hooked yet but I’m not DNFing. Prosper and Prue seem a lot older than 12. Love the setting.

First book I’ve picked up in ages that hasn’t had me yawning and skimming! Hope it keeps holding up! I should sleep, but I think I’ll read just a bit more...

Haven't read this for awhile but it's time to start up again!

I've been stalled here for a bit. There's some very long dry boring bits that I find it hard to make it through. Too much science-y stuff and not enough character interaction and development.

Slowly but surely chugging along. I'm writing comprehension questions as I go so it takes a bit longer to read. (My kids are gonna win the BOB this year! Lol.) It's actually nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be. For the most part I'm enjoying it.

I still don't really feel like I know Thomas Jefferson. I feel like I'm watching from outside. Don't get me wrong, it's not boring or anything, I just wish it felt more personal and connecting.

Only reading cause it's on the Battle of the Book list for next year. Really not a fan of animal fiction.

The Vikings were quite excitable.

I think I started this many years ago and never finished. In any case, I didn't remember much. My friend and I are both reading it this month. So far so good. It's a titch slow at times but that's more a style of the era than a prob with the story.

After reading Alexander Hamilton I decided to give Thomas Jefferson another chance. (I've never liked him much.) I got this book for Christmas and it's on my summer list so here we go!

I've been slowly making my way through this. One of the fifth graders recommended this to me so I'm giving it a try. It's not that's it bad, I'm just personally not that interested. My favorite part is the illustrations.

I didn't know it was a Viking that basically started Russia! Cool.

Quite enjoying it so far. I like the author's easy-going manner.

I'm enjoying this a lot more than I did when I was younger.

Not what I was expecting. It does seem kind of long, though, and not much of a plot has been set up. I also think the authors thought they were being a lot funnier than they actually are.

Some blatantly sexist comments in the first few pages already through me into high alert and I haven't moved past it. But I am still reading, for better or worse.
