this was kinda good then got worse then comically bad, stayed bad, got a teensy bit better and ended just bleh

i love and have loved how she writes. aside from that… this particular book i have learned nothing from, i might’ve even gotten a little dumber

I dont know. This had great pieces of writing done by a person obviously masterful in their craft, but it also had some caricatures of characters instead of actual characters. Worth the read but with a good helping of ‘yikes’ sprinkled throughout

Wanted to love it, instead it really irked me. The amount of alliteration (or whatever this stylistic figure is called) in a single sentence drove me up the fucking wall. “Powerful vibrations of (…) power”
“Good degreees, various degrees of handsomeness”
“Gorging on her engorged breasts”
Lots of pseudo intellectual stuff but in a very..information found on Google type of way.
