Good book, really picked up at the end. Stick with it.

I liked the start of this book, but it had a massive feeling of summer about it to me so I'm going to save this for some holiday reading. Watch this space

I'm won't lie, I am struggling with this book. I really really want to like it but it is at points rather tedious, depressing and just abit flat. Still I'm going to finish it mostly because I made me youngest son read it lol.

Tough going, seems abit more disjointed than his last title. Fairly depressing as well, and if I'm honest a little slow. Still for some reason I keep reading it. He action is nice when it finally kicks in I guess. Also h tech in it is fairly original and interesting to read. Still loving the stacks side of things. I also you have to give kudos to the author for creating a whole universe. Brave.

Enjoying this so far, I am a recent convert to Chris Wright from reading Scars well more accurately listening to. Great audio book! I have now increased my black library authors that are good to three. Sir Abnett of course, ADB and now Mr Wright.

Well as much as i hate to say it, im finally beginning to see why people make such a fuss about this book. To name but a few i can see that The Matrix (obvious one) and Ghost in the Shell have taken massively from this book. Anyway im beginning to get Case as a character, and like Molly (who couldn't when she has knives embedded in her finger tips!). Enjoying so far...

Enjoying this, ignoring the fact that some of the art work is clearly aimed at hormonal teenage boys and concentrating on the story. Good to read about my favourite X-men character Remy again! ;)

So i am giving this another go, purely because it is essentially impossible to avoid references to this book. I have tried reading this book three times before and on the last attempt i ended up throwing it across the room i hated it so much. That all said i am actually enjoying it abit this time, i am keeping a very open mind and am blocking out all the voices which tell me this is an AMAZING book..so far so good!

Still reading this...it has been a long road but possibly worth it.. will have to see how it will end!

So this has finally picked up!! I'm glad I stuck with it as it has actually become interesting again. Will be interesting to see how this ends.

Struggling with this a lot, almost give jump on it. Very dry and very slow virtually no dialogue....

I was shamefully sold on this book by the extract that BL gave away, that line;
"Me? I am Slaughter", sent shivers down my spine. Pure Abnett.

Stalled on this again, too many dinner dates... waiting for something to happen...anything!

Enjoying this a lot so far. Pleasantly surprised. :)

So far so good, nothing amazing but good enough that i will finish it. I am probably being abit harder on this as well as this Doctor wasn't my favorite ;

That said, after well three books I have found something I like which is the never never....nice antidote to the Star Trek book I'm trying to read...lol

Well so far not so good, I have given up on this for now. Which is not like me at all. I found the book painfully Politically correct, so much so it was actually interfering with the ability of the author to weave a believable story. Now I'm not a newbie to the Star Trek genre so I aware that the St world is set In a utopian future where everyone is equal and peace, love and mini skirts for blokes are in abundance.

This is going ok, reading this as an adult I find the attire that a lot of the female characters where a little embarrassing (in that I'm embarrassed to be associated with it ) also i have one to guardians of the galaxy late in that ,y interested started when the film came out. I was aware of them via avengers etc but never really interested. Now I have found I love Groot and Rocket massively as its so new and fresh.

Still reading this, still cheesy as hell. Not sure why i'm reading it... but hey ho its ok for a quick 10 mins toilet read.

Cheesy as cheesy as can be, but that's what you get with Harry Dresden. I'm used to his ways now, the writing leaves a fair amount to be desired but I'm 3 books in so no way I'm stopping now!

Lost this for awhile but recently found it lurking under my bed so I will be resuming this very soon.

This book was very hard to get into partly because it was so different to read and I wasn't really expecting it. I lent. Book from the library and knew nothing about it. I just, liked the name and the few blurb on the back.but it has gone on from strength to strength and I'm really enjoying it.

Enjoying so far, seems fairly spot on. It is interesting to get the historical view of UK at that time when we still had a Empire etc.
