I found this book overall to be an enjoyable read about a most fascinating sporting icon.

This book is filled with the names of International businessmen and corporations that helped Nazi Germany.. but it was Poland that lit the fuse that sparked World War 2. Specifically, I will name Polish leader Marshall Edward Rydz Smigley and his foreign minister Josef Beck that gave the go-ahead for the mass killings of German minorities in the summer of 1939. Heck what a book as written from an insiders viewpoint. It does go off a little bit(from time to time) on tangents but overall Rothkcopf does a decent job with the material. Not an easy read in parts but it's worth a punt.

A revealing book so far. The author ensures the narrative flows nicely.
