I still hate all the cursing

Well that escalated quickly. Really... just wam bam, almost thank you ma'am? This is just kind of all over the place with what she is thinking... idk. I cant say this is good. There really wasnt enough heat before this to warrant it and im having a hard time even liking Raeve.

Slow and steady wins the race but my goodness do I hate waiting. One of my least favorite tropes is in this. Although I didnt know it until now... how long is this gonna last... the whole book? I feel like it is. 😩🫩

I'm rather enjoying this. At first, it reminded me of rose red or the Winchester house but now I'm even more curious as to why things are happening. 🤔

Why are there dandelions and China in a mythical and mystic place? How would they know about this stuff? How is this person get summa cum laude? There are problems.

Its dragging. I feel like this could get to the point faster, honestly.

I think its funny that she can somehow beat two guys at sword fighting, who have powers none the less, when she's literally just a girl who is pretending to be powerful. Makes no sense. But oh well... let's continue.
