Rachel is starting Daughter of the House
I enjoyed this book very much. Loved the characters, very well drawn. Lots of ups and downs is family saga, the author drew me into their lives perfectly

Rachel is starting Exiles (Aaron Falk, #3)
I’ve just skipped to last chapter before dying of boredom. Too many characters, too many scenarios where absolutely nothing happened. What a yawn! Given up

A possible suspect of the car hijackings is Jonas Budd then suddenly Joshua Budd

It’s not stated so far what is being used to smash the car windows so it could be a gun but there must be something in the assailant’s hand ???

Rachel is starting Now May You Weep (Duncan Kincaid & Gemma James, #9)
I’ve stopped listening at 9 hours to go. One of the worst books I’ve ever read/listened to. I think I was on a history tour of whiskey. I’m not even wondering if anything is ever going to happen

I’m nearly halfway through and it’s getting more but all and ridiculous. Another on on the DNF heap.

Only a third through and it’s gotten ridiculous. Joe who has Parkinson’s chasing a knife wielding whack job. Joe is out buying flowers for his father’s secret wife who he only found out about the day before? I don’t think so! No idea who bashed his father senseless, don’t care. The only good thing was meeting up again with Vincent Ruiz who never disappoints. Tossed in the DNF pile

I’m only a few chapters in and Elon is already driving me crazy! I then made the mistake or not of reading the reviews and so now I’m moving on to something better 😀 Thank you all for for saving me

What a massive shame the author decided to read this book herself. I don’t think I’ll manage to finish listening. Great content but her sing song narration is driving me crazy. It doesn’t sound at all like she’s talking to me or even about herself rather she’s just reading a book. I’ll swap to reading rather than listening

Rachel is starting The Comforts of Home (Simon Serrailler, #9)
I’ve lost the will to keep reading. I must be over the Serailler family because most them are annoying me, especially Cat. She treats her husband like a child and she so boring and reminds of one of those colourless goody two shoes from Year 6. I like bed the all of the previous books but this was very slow to get to a crime and when Simon cooked himself ‘sardines, peas and potatoes’ for dinner I gave up
