P.K. Dick has been so amply covered by Hollywood over the last couple of decades that it's hard to feel any sense of freshness from these stories. Nevertheless, all remain engrossing. His multi-layered neuroses are fascinating to watch unfold, and there's also an element of nostalgia in his settings. There's nothing like a little post-nuclear wasteland to make you think back fondly on the Cold War days.
