I’m a sucker for anything post apocalyptic and I love monsters, so this is a marriage made in hell to me. I can’t wait to did deeper into it.

I just started this, and I’m loving it. The concept (an unammusement park of haunted attractions) seems sorta silly, but believe me when I say it’s not here. I love Ralston's work, but I shied away from this one due to what I took to be a wonky theme. Turns out I was dead wrong.

This book defines extreme. I’m loving I so far (because I’m weird), but I would NOT recommend it to anyone without the strongest stomach. You’ve been warned.

Science Fiction has taken a back seat to gut-wrenching family drama. Ordinarily, this type of story is not my cup of tea, but inexplicably, I find myself enthralled and wishing MY world would slow down, so I could read this MORE.

Can't. Put. It. Down.

I'm reading so many things at once now. It's incredible. The Kindle Fire...it's SPOILING me during this quiet time.

Now THIS is an interesting take on "cyberpunk.

The book is starting to flag a little bit. The Lynchian weirdness has drifted a bit into the realm of fantasy. Now to see if the author can pull it our of the hat at the end...

Picaresque, touching, and somewhat mysterious...there is sci fi around the bend.

Only a little ways in, but it is already creepy AND surreal.

I love this book so far. It was a shot in the dark, as far as new book picks are concerned, so I am pleased.
