Started this last year but struggling to get in to it
I will persevere though after a break of a couple different books

I’m loving it so far. I literally laugh out loud. I can imagine all the characters saying exactly what they are saying!

Loved it. Read it in 3 sittings and only because I had to do Mum stuff otherwise it would have been 1!!

I’m now hooked. It did take a while I have to say.

Still struggling a little. Maybe I should stop reading for a while as I couldn’t finish a recent book and I’m struggling with this- everyone else seems to love it.

I have to admit I’m struggling. I can’t put my finger on what it is that’s not grabbing me. I like most kinds of narrative so it’s not that although I’ve seen other’s comments that they struggle with that.
Maybe the setting as it’s not a comfortable place that is easy to imagine us being in? Or am I reading too much into my reasons.
I shall persevere…

I’ve had so little time to read but I’m so engrossed!

What I like so far is that it’s a ‘meaty’ read. Lots of detail and not a book I whizz through so it lasts longer. First one I’ve read and I’ve realised I’ve not read in order. I’ll need to rectify that!

Didn’t love it I’m afraid. Some rude bits seemed vulgar & unnecessary?

Trading the second one as hoping series improves heard good things!

I’m now hooked but this one did take a while to get in to! I persevered until chapter 29 & now I can’t put it down. Can’t really explain why all his other books I’ve read I’ve been instantly hooked. I don’t like giving up on a book!

I’m returning to this book for a 3rd or 4th time. I can’t really remember where I am so I might have to start at the beginning. I’ve never had this problem with Dan Brown books before. Here goes....

I’ve read these all my adult life. I started with A when I was 18/19. I love all the characters & almost hold my breath incase Henry didn’t make it!
I wanted to be Kinsey! Her freedom & solitude! Exciting yet simple life!
Yet I started Y last year & couldn’t get into it . I tried a few times to no avail -so not like me! So between books I thought I’ll try again. Hooked from page 1!

Fabulous read that left me thinking constantly after I’d finished.

I was hooked within 3 chapters! Enjoying the Scandi style with not so heavy style

Loved the Drama on TV enjoying this book. Love Strike and Robin 😀

So far I’m a little confused as I’ve said previously these books have intricate intertwined plots and this picks up some threads from earlier books. Took me a while to recall the characters and I’m still not clear. Could only get this book on kindle.

Again I really enjoyed the book. The plot is quite intricate and does refer back to previous books. I want Pharoah to have some luck !

So far David Mark's books have been intricate plots with reliable solid Hector plodding through. I love how we see into his mind. Enjoying this book so far!

Struggling to get into this one so I keep leaving it for my Agatha Raisins! Going to try again I loved the last one so I will persevere!

Struggling to get in to this one. I’ve loved all his books up until now but I can’t get past the scene in the presentation. I will persevere though I love Robert Langdon usually

I recorded the BBC adaptation at Christmas but thought I would read the book before I watched it.
I'm not sure I will watch it now.. This book made me cry- made me angry and I was drawn in. I was frightened and confused at times. Powerful reading and I didn't want to put it down.
Excellent. All I can say!!

I love this but I have to read it when I’m feeling 100% so I don’t miss anything and can fall into the world and time I’m reading about. I cried when father left the debtors prison and I’m now on the next chapter of their new lives
