Kako Ivo Andrić opisuje dete ometeno u razvoju: nakaza od deteta, sakato maloumno dete i moj lični favorit: onaj mali kreten. Neverovatno da pisac njegovog renomea koristi tako bazične i uvredljive opise.

Dođe tako period kad imam reader's block...

"Jednog dana sam se vratio kući iz škole, a on [duh iz prošlosti] je ležao go na mom krevetu, sa ukrućenom natrulom kitom."

Ah, ta fina Kingova suptilnost i nijansiranje...

Just taking a minute to say how much I appreciate this comic, I'm in no rush to finish it, because, truth be told, I need my daily dosage of Calvin and Hobbes. It is both simple and profound, lighthearted and serious, childish and mature. And so much fun! I cannot stress enough how fun it is. Truly one of the greatest comics ever created.

I don't know if it's just me, but every time I read Abercrombie's books, everything reminds me of the original trilogy... A guy with a biting inner monologue --> Glokta. A guy who has a physical disability or can't walk properly --> Glokta. A badass with a catchphase --> Bloody Nine. And no one can top these characters.

So many characters in this novel, it's hard to keep track who's who.

Great start, it's good to be back in the Cemetery of Forgotten Books.

I don't know if it's just me, but reading this book is not going so smoothly, and it is often accompanied by yawning and confused head scratching. I sure hope it will start making sense soon.

God, I love their banter.

I've never thought that reading this novel would take so long... It's an amazing and twisted world, where ash falls from the sky and fog consumes the night, but the story is so watered down in some parts. Sometimes, it's just about Vin attending balls and discussing allomancy. Come on, Brandon, it's time to speed things up.

Damn, I missed Locke Lamora! Here's to hoping the plot won't meander too much. So far so good, and we finally get to meet the mysterious Sabetha.

Fun little book, but why WHY are they all under age?! I mean, you have pretty explicit scenes, lots of violence and decadence, and I have nothing against that, but it just ruins the whole experience when you know they are all teenagers. For example, the criminal mastermind is a 17 year old dude, and he kind of resembles Locke Lamora. The witch hunter is the same age and so on. Come on.

Kaze ovako: "Kad su posustali dosli su do nove ideje: 'argumetid rijaliti' - poseban vid igranja igrica..." itd. Argumetid? Stvarno? Dalje u tekstu pise "argumentovana realnost", sto je los prevod "augmented reality", to jest "prosirene stvarnosti". Malo bode oci.

Gotov prvi tom, Rošar je i dalje zavodljiv baš kao u Putu kraljeva, tako da mi ne smetaju opširni opisi kamenpupoljaka, kremenkore i ostalih biljaka ovog sveta. :D High fantasy u svom najboljem izdanju. Plus, saznali smo dosta pojedinosti o Senomaru i sprenovima. Jedina zamerka tiče se radnje, koja pomalo tapka u mestu. Nadam se da će drugi tom to popraviti. Za ovaj prvi 4/5 zvezdica.

Oduševljen sam ovom knjigom, jedno vreme sam je izbegavao zato što sam video da je dosta zahtevna i opširna, ali nisam se pokajao kada sam počeo da čitam. Rošar je istovremeno i divan, i okrutan svet, neverovatno detaljno opisan, što nimalo ne iznenađuje jer je Sanderson više od dvadeset godina radio na ovoj knjizi. Oseti se to u svakom opisu - što Rošara, što likova - zato ne žurim i uživam u čitanju.

Grbavog mu Zaštitnika, kako je ovo kompleksan zaplet! I sad će još da glume pirate! Nadam se da će Skot Linč uspeti da razmrsi čvorove priče do kraja.

Previše knjiga čitam u isto vreme, ali ovaj početak obećava.
