If you think I should read Harry Potter, convince me

I tried many times as a kid/teen and could never get into it. I am now 30 years old. I found the first 2 books in a Goodwill the other day, and my husband (who loves HP) convinced me to get them.

For context, I love fantasy, so these should be right up my alley, right? Was I just young and dumb back then? Am I too old for HP now?

One short story/novella every morning is a fun way to get the day started! Here we go ☺️

There’s a local boom club reading The Housemaid this month, so I thought I’d try this out first since I’ve never read Freida yet!

Also, I always enjoy a little novella. I’d like to incorporate them more into my everyday reading.

My main goal for this year? Not to hit a reading slump the moment June hits. It happens to me EVERY year. It’s summer, I’m busy, and then as soon as the good weather is gone, it’s the holidays.

NO MORE OF THAT! I vow to read at LEAST ONE book a month! Start to finish!
