Never cried 6 pages into a book before, but here we are

Hi, book buds! Been going through some stuff lately and will be taking time off GR to get my mind right. You know what they say—stuff happens. Hoover's writing seems more simplistic in this one, and toned down from her usual style--it's nice. But I'm guessing the story isn't going to remain so simple... O.O
